Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administrator/ Owner of the software control program for CFFF.
  • Programmer for various pieces of specialized inspection equipment.
  • Provide support to currently existing inspection software.
  • Serve as liaison between supplier programmer/ analysts and Westinghouse database programmers.
  • Serve as liaison between supplier programmer/ analysts and Westinghouse end users.
  • Interface with prospective vendors and selected vendors to provide requirements, oversight and resolve issues with vendor provided software.
  • Perform code reviews as part of software verification/validation.
  • Provide training in software control.
  • Provide training to software users.

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:

  • Education Level - BS degree in Computer Science or other Science Curriculum required.
  • Min Years of Experience : 10
  • Previous experience validating/verifying software in a regulated environment.
  • Previous experience authoring and revising procedures a plus
  • Experience and understanding of RS-232 communication a plus

Programming Skills desired in:

  • C++/C#
  • Oracle and SQL
  • Python
  • Microsoft Power BI
